Synopsis

In this episode of the popular Epitaph series Paul Gittins goes grave digging in Waikumete Cemetery. The epitaph for 25-year old convicted murderer Denis Gunn, hanged for shooting the Ponsonby Postmaster, includes an intriguing inscription: "sadly wronged". Gittins unearths the story of a post office robbery, the first conviction in New Zealand based on a thumbprint identification (the judge called the print an "unforgeable signature"), and a pre-hanging claim of innocence: "if only my brother-in-law will speak up I will be saved".

Where can I purchase a copy of the episode of Epitaph involving William Alfred Bayly, I am related to him and would love a copy?
Or could you tell me when it will be shown on FOXTEL Australia?

This series is one of the most interesting I have ever seen. Our host Paul Gittins is a great presenter and we would love to know if there are any more episodes of 'Epitaph' in the pipeline. We would also love to know if the series is available on DVD, we have scoured the web and the usual outlets but nobody seems to know. Please be kind enough to post your information if you can help.
