"Remarkable". "Exhilarating". "Thrilling". Roger Donaldson has earned his share of acclaim, and NZ On Screen are amped to be celebrating his impressive career in this epic collection. Donaldson began by filming men on motorbikes, then courted controversy with TV drama Derek, and respect with short story anthology Winners & Losers. Since then he has directed 18 features, starting with the remarkable double punch of Sleeping Dogs and Smash Palace. In the backgrounders, Ian Mune riffs on working with Rog; writer and Smash Palace actor Keith Aberdein spills the beans; and critic Dominic Corry chronicles Donaldson's amazing career.
