American-born Jon Bridges moved to New Zealand at age three. He has gone on to make hundreds of hours of television — both in front of the camera, and behind it. Bridges' comic dexterity came to light in the early 90s with TV shows like Away Laughing, then he won fans as co-presenter of TV3 hit Ice TV. Since then Bridges has written, directed, produced and featured in numerous documentaries, dramas, and game shows, and was a producer on high profile shows 7 Days and The Project.
In this ScreenTalk, Bridges talks about:
We basically the whole time for six years came up stupid ideas, where we would have fun and we would film it; and that was really incidental.
