Award-winning director Brendan Donovan cast Six Million Dollar Man Lee Majors in his debut short film. It was a success. After eight years working in New York, the Howick native returned to New Zealand, where he has won awards for his work on The Insiders Guide to Love and Aftershock.

What I tried to capture in the film was this sense that even though this is a small place, it's a massive place for the people within it, and massive things are happening within it. . . . just like we sort of did with Insiders Guide, extraordinary things are happening to ordinary people.
