Presenter, Producer [Te Rarawa, Ngāpuhi, Ngāi Tahu]

Chey Milne began his career in iwi radio in 2007 as a Ngāti Hine FM presenter, before moving to television as a presenter on children’s shows Pūkana and I Am TV.  In 2013, he and his partner Kahurangi Milne founded Rotorua-based production company Arataua Media. He has since fronted live coverage of Te Matatini and ASB Polyfest, and produced series for Whakaata Māori including Something for the People, Tamariki Haka, and WaiAta/ToiAta. Beyond the screen, Milne has released two te reo Māori hip hop albums, and was a presenter and producer of RNZ te reo podcast Whakamāori. In 2024 he joined the board of Film Bay of Plenty.
