Corinna Hunziker

Director (Ngāpuhi, Ngāti Kahu)

After representing New Zealand at the 2011 Roller Derby World Cup, Corinna Hunziker (Derby nickname 'Hurricane Hori') hung up her skates to pursue a new passion  filmmaking. In the decade since attending South Seas Film and Television School, she has built an impressive filmography as a director. Documentary has been a focus, with her work including two Loading Docs shorts (HAKA Haha, Mana Wahine), co-directing music show Waiata/Anthems, and multiple episodes of long-running multicultural series Both Worlds. She has also directed for bilingual drama Ahikāroa, and often works with producer/director Julia Parnell.
