Joyce Wong

Since first swapping the startup world for the screen industry in 2021, Joyce Wong has brought her business skills to filmmaking as a producer. She had production roles with Notable Pictures and Wētā FX, before producing the short film Blue Lights in 2023. Wong co-produced short Happiness is the Path for the Pan-Asian Screen Collective’s development initiative Episode One, and produced dark comedy-drama series Camp Be Better. In 2024 she was named runner-up for the SPADA Emerging Producer Award. Passionate about telling Pan-Asian stories, Wong serves on the board of Auckland's Proudly Asian Theatre.
