Mukpuddy

Ryan Cooper, Tim Evans and Alex Leighton are the founders of Mukpuddy, the Auckland-based animation studio behind many beloved Kiwi cartoons. After meeting at animation school in the early 2000s, the trio cut their teeth making animated episodes for What Now!. They went on to make shows like The Barefoot Bandits, Quimbo’s Quest and The Adventures of Tumeke Space.

The dream and drive to make silly fun and funny cartoons hasn't wavered since the early days in Tim's basement, but as we've grown as storytellers and become more ambitious filmmakers, we've grown to love the challenge of bigger stories and more complex arcs and themes with strong emotional hooks.
