When Good TV Shows Go Bad

NZ On Screen's usual brief is to showcase the television shows and films that have been notably good or interesting. But occasionally our remit also extends to saluting the programmes that have been famous failures - the shows we have loved to hate. 1990s sitcom Melody Rules tops our list of celebrated failures, but there's also The Club Show from 1979, and City Life, from the later 90s (perhaps ahead of its time, rather than actually as bad as the reviews at the time?). We've also thrown a couple of one-off TV fiascos into this Spotlight collection for good measure.
