AFK

Web series AFK is set in the fantasy world of a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game (MMORPG). A glitch leaves the players trapped in the game as their characters — who can be very different from their real identities. Jock Steven, for instance, is trapped in the body of his warrior princess character (JJ Fong). As the group try to figure their way out, a mysterious Russian provides further intrigue. Created by 48 Hours film contest veteran Peter Haynes, AFK (ie 'away from keyboard') won NZ On Air funding for its second season.
