Anna Coddington

Born and raised in the small sea-side town of Raglan, singer-songwriter Anna Coddington played in a number of groups (Duchess, Handsome Geoffrey) before releasing her first album as a solo artist, The Lake, in 2008. Since then, she has released four more albums, including Te Whakamiha in 2024, celebrating her Te Reo Māori journey with bilingual lyrics. The album features Silver Scroll winning track 'Kātuarehe' and won her Best Female Solo Artist at the Waiata Māori Music Awards. Describing herself as a "nerd", Coddington also has a masters degree in Linguistics, has written children's literature, and is undertaking a Law degree.
