I was lucky enough to be one of the dancers on this show weekly. Was chosen as 'Miss Mod' one week and received a wonderful prize of cosmetics - as it was live - then had to get on the bus and travel home with my prize under my arm.

Yes Let's Go was definitely Kevan Moore's work. Judging by the composition of both the Librettos and Countdown I'd say late 1964. After the rehearsal around 50 lucky punters were allowed in to be the audience - still can't work out how they fitted everyone into that Waring Taylor studio.

So great to see this. I noticed 2 posters of myself on the wall!
Have clear memories of singing several times on this programme.

The Countdowns & Libretto's, brings back good memories of this show. Murry McGough playing bass in the Countdowns later went solo changing his name to Murry Marsden and recorded a couple of songs for HMV backed by The Breakaways. Hucklebuck Shoes was one of them. Both great bands 'live'

Roger, had a fun jam today with Kevin on bass. He showed me the Pleasers clip on YouTube which led me here in search of more footage.
