After seven years co-hosting Jono and Ben, comedian Guy Williams expanded the show's New Zealand Today segment into its own series. The 'volunteer journalist' tackles the big stories, meeting Kiwis who've hit the headlines in towns like Whanganui (where a coffin is stolen) and Invercargill (hit by several cases of "code brown" at its public pool). The eight-part show won positive reviews and high ratings on Three, and in 2024 the show scored an NZ TV award for Best Entertainment Programme. There have been four seasons to date, plus a 10-episode podcast.
