Stories behind 120 of the two million+ pieces in the collection of museum Te Papa Tongarewa are revealed in this series of short documentaries, commissioned by Te Papa and digital channel TVNZ 6. Presenters Simon Morton (Radio New Zealand) and Riria Hotere (Kōrero Mai) talk to museum experts about items ranging from the quirky to the globally significant. Objects explored include a Fijian war club, old dental nurse tools, the stars of Play School, Phar Lap's skeleton, art by Colin McCahon, Samoan cricket bats and Egyptian mummies.
