TransGenerations

Actor and singer Brady Peeti both presents and directs this eight-part web series on the trans experience in Aotearoa. Peeti meets with six different New Zealanders living their authentic lives as trans people, and shares her own coming-out story across two episodes. The profiles include public figures, such as activist Phylesha Brown-Acton, Young New Zealander of the Year Shaneel Lal and national men’s netball coach Sarah Michelle Hansen-Vaeau. A series produced for the NZ Herald website, TransGenerations also screened at numerous film festivals, including Berlin Short Film Festival where it won Best Web Series in 2023.
