Television (Full Length Episode) – 1984

The long shadow of World War ll hangs over Mason Valley in this episode of drama Country GP, directed by the multi-talented Ginette McDonald. Returned soldier and ex-prisoner of war Joe (Simon O'Connor, from TV movie How to Murder Your Wife) returns to civilian life under the watch of best mate and local cop George (David Copeland). The concerns of Doctor David Miller (Lani Tupu) about Joe "rushing" things are brushed off, just as Joe's violent flashbacks reach a tragic peak. Meanwhile Memorial Hall caretaker Ted (Roy Wesney) decides he's had enough of locals ignoring the rules.
