Since graduating from Australia's National Institute of Dramatic Art in 1995, Brit-born Charles Mesure has worked largely in NZ, plus occasionally within the realm of American television. An early screen role in City Life earned Mesure a NZ TV awards best actor nomination, and four seasons as Detective Kees Van Dam in Street Legal won him a best supporting actor award. His recent roles include Outrageous Fortune and the upcoming This is Not My Life.
