Auckland production company thedownlowconcept specialise in radio and screen shows with a quirky comedic bent. Downlow broke into TV with music quiz Pop! Goes the Weasel, a spin-off from their radio series. They made their name with a run of award-winning shorts, and TV's 7 Days; their 2010 short Only Son was the first 48 Hour film to score at the Qantas Film and Television Awards. Downlow's latest project is sitcom Hounds.
So much has happened in the last few months, that there’s barely been time or inspiration to write a bitter blog complaining about our lot.
