Synopsis

Three years after debuting on A Haunting We Will Go, Count Homogenized makes a memorable re-entrance in this first episode of his own series, disguised as a movable charity bin. The episode has the simplicity of a good cartoon: essentially the Count endeavours to trick or talk his way past the local diary owners, on his endless mission to make it to the milk supplies. Aside from Russell Smith in full comic flight as the Count, Lynda Milligan takes the New Zild accent in dramatic new directions as no-nonsense shopkeeper Rhonda Dearsley.

Holy Crap!!! My earliest nightmare as a Pre-Schooler is of Count Homogenized creeping, inch by inch, to a steady rhythm that I think now was my increasing heart rate, down the driveway from the letterboxes to the flats where we lived. Slowly but surely, TOWARD ME!!! Scared the CRAP OUT OF ME!!!! That and a character called "The Black Hand" from the Sooty & Sweep Show! Anyone remember that guy???

My daughter and I were just talking about this programme and remember it from way back.

Terrifying as a child, still got nervous as soon as his face flopped up on screen. Nightmares for DECADES from this.

Is it not I, Count Homogenized, the Mr Muscle of the masses, who is making your untidy footpath a fit place to place a foot?
