Maybe was the first single off Opshop's Second Hand Planet album and went on to become the most-played New Zealand track of 2007. The work of English producer Greg Haver (Manic Street Preachers, Mel C) is evident in the song's epic scale and polish, but like most of the band's work, it's mostly a platform for singer Jason Kerrison's talent for coarse, impassioned vocals and anthemic hooks. The video's animated backdrops of urban decay provide a simple but appropriate backdrop for the arena-sized angst.
