An Adoption Story - Three Episodes

Adoption Story creator Alex Gilbert — an adoptee himself — founded I'm Adopted in 2015, an online global community for adoptees from Aotearoa and beyond to connect and share their stories. The first series of An Adoption Story, released in 2022, followed 12 adoptees from around the world. In these three episodes from series two, Alex continues his mahi by helping adopted Kiwis in their search for answers, as well as discussing the frustration and emotional turbulence that can come with trying to find solutions to lifelong questions. It was the first time I'd seen grass. I fell over and started crying and wiping this grass off me, because I didn't know what it was. All I'd known was snow  . . . I went into panic mode.
