Pat Robins

Pat Robins has been active in the screen industry across many behind the scenes roles. In the early 1970s Robins, her then husband Geoff Murphy and their children took to the road with musical collective Blerta. After production managing movies like Goodbye Pork Pie, Utu, and Ngāti, she stepped out on her own as a director, with 1985 short film Instincts. Robin's short Food for Thought was nominated for a 2017 Moa Award.

Any art form needs diverse voices, diverse points of view. Film is just the same. We just want to hear stories from all sorts of different angles. Pat Robins
