Mahuia Bridgman-Cooper

Mahuia Bridgman-Cooper is a musician, orchestrator, producer and composer, who has created scores for many celebrated New Zealand films and television shows. After gaining a Masters of Music in performance violin in Australia, he returned to Auckland and began working in the local screen industry. Bridgman-Cooper has composed for such films as Housebound, Shadow in the Cloud, Fantail and Mahana — which won him and Tama Waipara an APRA Silver Scroll for Best Original Score. His TV credits include music for Creamerie, Vegas and many high profile commercials, such as the beloved Ghost Chips road safety campaign.
