Matt Minto has played his share of stressed men in suits. In 2019 he starred in TV thriller The Bad Seed, as a well-to-do obstetrician hiding secrets while under investigation for murder. Minto earlier won attention in 2010, when he literally crashed into an episode of Shortland Street as surgeon Isaac Worthington, the out of control cousin of Chris Warner (Michael Galvin). Minto began his career in Sydney after he finished high school in Wellington. He trained at Sydney drama school Actors Centre Australia, and did a year-long stint on Australian soap Home and Away, as a lawyer who kidnaps his own children.
