Penelope Barr-Sellers

A Miss Waikato beauty queen, Penelope Barr-Sellers (formerly Penelope Barr) studied education at Waikato University before becoming a One News weather presenter in 1987. Throughout the 1990s, she was a fixture of local TV presenting on shows like Breakfast, Good Morning New Zealand and Corban's Fashion Collections. She also presented and reported for lifestyle show Body & Soul and business show Made in New Zealand, and returned to weather presenting with Today Live and Primetime. In the early 2000s, she moved into business and public relations, and spent time working in London. Barr-Sellers currently resides in Auckland.
