Pippa Wetzell

Presenter

After gaining a Bachelor of Communications from AUT, Pippa Wetzell began doing the graveyard shift on TVNZ’s news desk in 1998. Three years later she was reporting for One News. After time as a fill-in host on news and talk show Breakfast, in 2007 she joined Paul Henry as Breakfast's official co-host. Wetzell continued on the show until Henry left in late 2010. In January 2013 she was announced as the new presenter of consumer affairs programme Fair Go, joining Gordon Harcourt. She has continued to co-host the show, these days with Haydn Jones. In 2015 she co-hosted Seven Sharp while host Toni Street was on maternity leave.

It was very very flattering to be asked to join, and I feel hugely privileged. It's a show that's been around for such a long time, and it's so well respected —  it's loved. Pippa Wetzell, on joining Fair Go, on TV show Breakfast, 27 February 2013
