King Loser , Music Video – 1995

from the album You Cannot Kill What Does Not Live (1995)

Mustang-driving vixen Celia Mancini pulls the punches in this lo-fi but high energy clip, which evokes 60s era heroines Emma Peel (The Avengers) and Modesty Blaise. The legendary King Loser vocalist dispatches a series of unfortunate victims, who may look familiar to close followers of the band. Mancini speeds off wearing a reference to King Loser's latest album. Apparently it was Mancini's idea to go on a killing spree in a black catsuit. Directing the video for this surf guitar instrumental is Cushla Dillon, who later co-directed feature-length documentary King Loser on the band, alongside Andrew Moore.

Why ruin good music with bad words?
– Guitarist Chirs Heazlewood on instrumentals, in a 1996 TV interview
