Kiwi comedians are at the heart of Educators, an improvised web series about dysfunctional and incompetent high school teachers. Created by comedians Jesse Griffin (aka singer Wilson Dixon), Jackie van Beek and Jonny Brugh, the show's humourist-heavy cast includes van Beek, Brugh, Cohen Holloway and Kura Forrester. The TVNZ On Demand show was nominated for Best Web Series at the 2019 Huawei Mate30 Pro NZ TV Awards. A second season was delayed by a Covid-19 lockdown; season three debuted in 2022.
