Holmes - Glen Campbell

Television (Excerpts) – 1991

I still haven't learned the chords on that one yet. But it's poetry.
– Glen Campbell, after playing Jimmy Webb song 'No Signs of Age'
Did you fall in love with the high life a bit at one point. I mean you must have been one of the most toasted people in the world....
– Paul Homes
Glen was very, very good at arranging things for top 40 radio ... He could come up with great intros and great solos, great breaks, and he wrote perfect strings, because he wrote very little. It was a minimalist approach and it just left Glen out there with the song and the guitar ... I could have done better to stay out of Glen's way, I think.
– Jimmy Webb on Glen Campbell, in a 2011 Songfacts interview
I was ready when I was called to do something; I could do it musically. I didn't limit my talent by pursuing one particular kind of music. I didn't limit it by pursuing jazz or pursuing country or pursuing pop. Music was my world before they started putting a label on it ... That came from working in my Uncle's band in Albuquerque. We had a five day a week radio show, six, seven years.
– Glen Campbell, in an interview on website Classic Bands
