Living in New Zealand - Folklore

Television (Full Length) – 1970

The New Zealand Folklore Society was founded in the city of Wellington in 1966. It was organised mainly by folk revival singers and musicians, a few of whom had prior experience collecting songs and other folklore  . . . members collected folklore of various kinds, published a journal, and promoted songs within the folk movement . . . Decling membership led to the disbanding of all branches in the mid-1970s.
