For his first solo TV show, comedian and Jono and Ben regular Guy Williams travels the country meeting Kiwis who've made the headlines. In this debut episode, he heads to Hāwera to investigate a racism scandal in a Christmas parade. The local Lions Club aren't keen to go on-camera about their decision to wear blackface. Admitting he's exploiting the situation for cheap laughs, Williams organises a "non-racist" parade in a motel car park. Then a stolen coffin leads him to Whanganui, where he helps build a new "death cabinet" as a gift. The series was directed by Matt Cooke and comedian Joseph Moore.
For eight weeks I’m travelling the country meeting real Kiwis and going to the places no one else wants to go to, like Invercargill and Auckland.– Guy Williams introduces the show
