Episode One — 'Stones'
Back at school in Tinopai after the holidays, Nia (Shania Gilmour) and best friend Hazel (Jessica Woollam) collect pebbles for arts and crafts. When school bully Josh (Angus Glasgow) appears, Nia's imagination springs into action, but first she needs to be brave enough to make a stand.
Episode Two — 'Castles Made of Sand'
With Hazel sick and away from school, Nia feels lonelier than usual and misses making sandcastles with her mum. With her Dad (Roko Babich) busy working on the boat, Nia spends a quiet afternoon at the beach and finds a chance for a new friendship.
Episode Three — 'Lucas'
A walk along the shore turns into a treasure hunt when Nia and Hazel meet Lucas (Zak Gilmour), who's lost something very important — Timothy, the school turtle. Josh and his friends stop by the beach, but Nia's not sure if they will lend a helping hand or not.
Episode Four — 'The Scrap'
A kutu (head lice) outbreak at Nia's school has everyone blaming each other, and the teasing quickly gets out of hand. When Isabella (Courtney Crichton) starts bullying Ariana (Tahlee Glasgow) for spreading the kutu, Nia wants to stand up for what's fair — but things don't quite go as expected.
Episode Five — 'The Weakest Link'
Nia and her friends are out at after school cricket practice, but it isn't easy for everyone. Nia notices Isabella is struggling and that Isabella's mum (Felicity Drace) is disappointed, and Nia wishes she could help. Suddenly it's Nia's turn to bat and the pressure is on.
Episode Six — 'Artsy Fartsy'
On the way home Nia and Hazel are busy dreaming up ideas for the school art competition. That is until Josh and his friends stop by and begin making fun of their "artsy fartsy" ideas and Nia begins to wonder if being creative is worth the trouble.
Episode Seven — 'Wonderland'
Nia and her friends are having a wonderful day. After school adventures turn into a wild imaginary jungle full of fun and danger. Back in the real world Nia has decided she's not going to enter the art competition anymore, but Hazel has other plans.
Episode Eight — 'Pontoon'
Nia escapes into daydreams of performing on famous stages and premiering her blockbuster movies, trying not to think about what's really bothering her. Hazel has shared some surprising news, and Nia knows her world is about to change.
Episode Nine — 'Deserted Island'
Nia's Dad takes her out fishing on the pier, but Nia is busy thinking about how lonely it will be after Hazel has moved to Australia. Her imagination helps until some familiar faces turn up at the pier and the day takes an unexpected turn.
Episode Ten — 'Diorama'
With the art competition almost here and Hazel about to go, Nia puts the final touches on her special project. Excited, she heads to Hazel's house to show off her work, but on the way drama flares up and Nia's artwork is at risk.
Episode Eleven — 'Into The Night'
Still upset about how Isabella damaged her artwork, Nia can't stop thinking about getting even. But before she can get around to her scheme Isabella has a few words to say, and Nia's friends all gather with a plan to save the day.
Episode Twelve — 'Goodbye Hazel'
On Hazel's last morning in Tinopai, Nia finishes her artwork and walks to school with her best friend one more time. Nia's classmates all rally together to give Hazel the best send-off that they can, and Nia has a special gift planned.
