Documentary series Unzipped takes a look behind the scenes during the frantic lead-up to New Zealand Fashion Week in 2010 — from finding models right through to the exictement of runway shows on the big day. Over eight episodes, the show follows big names in the industry, including designers Trelise Cooper, Stolen Girlfriends Club, Sera Lilly, and emerging label Maaike, as they juggle model casting calls, elaborate set designs and last minute wardrobe changes. Behind all the glitz and glamour, the designers are challenged by wardrobe malfunctions, missing models, and backstage chaos, all while trying to make their mark on New Zealand fashion. Check out the episode guide here.
