In this light-hearted web series Sid (played by Byron Coll, from short film Dive and a classic series of Mastercard All Blacks adverts) sets out to make a documentary about the battle to keep a petrochemical giant out of Woodville. But the lovestruck director is quickly hamstrung by his own inexperience. Marton-born director Georgiana Taylor and writer Christopher Brandon won funding from NZ On Air's digital media fund Ignite to make their quirky character comedy. The six short episodes are sprinkled with Kiwi talent, including Hayley Sproull, Vanessa Stacey (The Tribe) and Mike Minogue. Woodville screened at London's Raindance in 2013, the first year web series were part of the festival.
We don't do stereotypes here.– Sid (Byron Coll) in episode two
