Loren Horsley won attention for her role as a shy, overadoring fast food worker in geek romance Eagle vs Shark (based on a character she created). Horsley's movie debut was four years earlier, with 2003 road movie Kombi Nation; Horsley helped write the script. Inbetween, she has appeared on Insider's Guide to Happiness, Xena, fantasy show Atlantis High, and had an ongoing role on The Strip. In Gaylene Preston documentary Lovely Rita, she portrayed painter Rita Angus.
