Synopsis

'Victoria' was the song that started it all for The Exponents (or The Dance Exponents as they were known then) - and the video is quite a stylish one for its time. Instead of the usual TVNZ studio cheapie that was the norm in the early 80s, it's a film clip, with night-time Christchurch scenes and a pretty blonde video girl. Jordan Luck looks positively sweet and fresh-faced.

"Just about everyone in the clip was playing themselves. The one piece of actual acting required was for Jordan to impersonate someone who smoked! Very unconvincingly I may add..."

Director Simon Morris - Sept 09

First spotted on Radio with Pictures in 1980 or 1981. The simplicity and pitch of opening guitar and vocals plus simple story made you watch. Great to see it again.
