Aroha Bridge - Series One

Animated web series Aroha Bridge follows a brother and sister as they try to find success — or even a gig — for their band. Over 10 short episodes, the duo hang out at their suburban dairy, enter talent shows, sing about spaghetti, impress some Pākehā art students, and occasionally compromise their morals. Aroha Bridge (original title Hook Ups) was created by Jessica Hansell (aka rapper Coco Solid); she also voices character Kowhai Hook. The cast includes Tongan-Kiwi rapper Rizván Tu'itahi (as Kowhai's brother Monty), with Madeleine Sami and Frankie Stevens as their quirky parents. Two more seasons followed.
