Aroha Bridge - Series Two

In the second season of this animated web comedy, twins Monty and Kowhai continue to make music, have misadventures with their oddball family, and kick around their hometown of Aroha Bridge. Series two touches on sports versus the arts, jealousy and comparison, activism, getting rich quick, Māori identity and the fickle nature of fame — all in the tongue-in-cheek style the show is known for. The same creative team returns from series one, including co-directors Simon Ward and Jessica Hansell (aka Coco Solid). Hansell based the show on her weekly comic strip Hook Ups. Season one was broadcast under that name, before a change to Aroha Bridge in this second season. Check out the episode guide here.
