Shelved

Short Film (Full Length) – 2012

Humans aren't the only ones dealing with workplace boredom, drudgery and gossip — as this hi-tech take on a 1990s slacker comedy shows. It's another dull day of shelving for robot Beano (voiced by Russian Snark's Stephen Papps), as he gets an earful from cocky colleague Craig (Simon McKinney). But Craig's confidence may be misplaced. The five minute short features computer-generated images and took 12 weeks, 5,460 hours of rendering and 6,300 hours of work by 11 Media Design School pupils, who were studying Advanced 3D. The closing credits feature making of footage. Shelved won multiple awards in the United States.

No frigging way!
