In April 2010 Auckland's Town Hall hosted a concert featuring the Topp Twins and the Auckland Philharmonic Orchestra. In this excerpt, a glammed up Camp Mother (Lynda Topp) plays the fastest spoons in Aotearoa, while accompanying the players on the famous William Tell Overture. She's assisted by Camp Leader (Jools Topp) who has swapped cymbals for hub caps but is having trouble nailing her cues. The concert was filmed for a Qantas Award-winning TV special hosted by "self-appointed ambassadors of the arts" Prue and Dilly — who Topp Twins fans may find familiar..
Prue and Tilly will be Dames too — and Ken and Ken will be Sirs I suppose . . . All of those characters are us. I'm sure a few of them will take the title at the odd gig or two — but it's kind of nice that Jools and Lynda are Dames too.– Dame Jools Topp on her and her sister and their gallery of characters receiving honours, Radio New Zealand, 4 June 2018
