Conrad Wedde

Songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Conrad Wedde is probably best known for The Phoenix Foundation, but is also a highly accomplished composer for the New Zealand screen industry. Born and bred in Wellington, Wedde met his long-time collaborators Luke Buda and Samuel Scott at a young age; the trio went on to found The Phoenix Foundation and collaborate on numerous film and television scores. Under the name of Moniker, the trio composed for Taika Waititi films Boy, Hunt for the Wilderpeople and Eagle versus Shark. Wedde has also composed for television shows like Until Proven Innocent, and David White films Meat and This Town.
