Jesse Mulligan

Jesse Mulligan is one of the hosts of Three's primetime current affairs/entertainment show The Project. Mulligan first applied his talents to radio after winning a stand-up comedy contest while studying law in hometown Hamilton. He went on to do almost a decade with the More FM breakfast team, then began an afternoon slot on RNZ National in 2015. Mulligan first added television to his resume in 2009, with multiple seasons on the writing and presenting team of TV3 hit 7 Days, then a year as one of the original hosts for TVNZ's primetime show Seven Sharp. He has also hosted two seasons of comedy clip show Best Bits.

He's like a really nice robot or alien that's programmed to do everything super well, think really logically and be really complimentary and encouraging. He is a freak, and I mean that with absolute love and respect. The Project co-host Kanoa Lloyd on Jesse Mulligan, Barkers website, 31 May 2018
