Jill Soper

After escaping the foreign exchange market in London for a new beginning, Jill Soper returned home to Aotearoa. She worked in various production roles on acclaimed movie The Orator and a series of American titles shot downunder, including sci-fi comedy Aliens in the Attic and 2005 miniseries Hercules. On the home front, Soper has line produced Jennifer Ward-Lealand feature Vermilion and Springbok tour documentary By The Balls. In 2021 she was a producer on Six Angry Women, an award-winning account of a group of feminists who abducted university lecturer Mervyn Thompson in 1984. She went on to line produce horror hit M3gan.
