I worked on this show first, as a floor managers assistant, and then as lighting assistant. It was such a fun show to work on, everyone gave their best. The shift started initially with the set install, then lighting and sound rig. Then rehearsals without contestants in the afternoon. Then, we recorded prize package videotape inserts. The photographs of the previous couple's holiday were recorded using the huge studio cameras onto electronic still stores. They were pinned onto a board and recorded one by one. This was in the days before digital cameras. Dinner break, then record, I think, 5 shows in a row. Afterwards, the de-rig, then sometimes the crew would go to the then pan pacific hotel.
