Hi, I watch this video all the time as my Grandad is or was Rex Borck and my Grandma Lena Borck.

I was a child when National Film Unit crew lived with us to make the film of Bushman. My father was David Tait. I gave our copy of the original reel to Archives NZ and am pleased to see Bushman is now online. I still remember how some parts of the film were staged - eg we children never watched chopping events at axemen's carnivals as we were more likely to be watching the dancing or riding the merry-go-round. However, the main emphasis of the film is great.
I have a question: what was the name of the sound man? He also lived with us and played the piano very well. He is not listed in the credits. I have a memory that it was Wally ....
