Thanks or real credit was never given to the brilliant Margaret Mahy, who was never consulted about the use of her story but being the generous soul she was never complained or objected.

This song changed my life the first time I heard it... I still remember it was on 1XX which I used to listen to because 1ZD was crud... I was just a teenager & it awoke something in me that is still awake to this day!

Thank you! And thanks for the memories... hearing it again is still magical & still carries me away as much as it did then!

Geoff, this song always reminds me of a letter from your bro Roy when I was in London end 72/early 73 saying Blerta was about to Dance All around the World, "could we park all ourselves at your place when we get to London." I was most excited by the prospect...but as it turned out, I don't think you got past Australia. And I didn't realise till now dear Bill did the V/o..For years I thought it was Dougal Stevenson!
