The moody trailer for Forgive Us All delivers a gritty mix of Western action and supernatural horror — complete with guns, rugged scenery, and personal tragedy. Rory (Lily Sullivan) is a grieving mother, living reclusively in a post-apocalyptic world decimated by a virus outbreak. The arrival of a mysterious stranger drags her into a dangerous plot, and exposes her to the cannibalistic vampires the virus created. The "neo-Western" was shot in Queenstown and independently financed by Australian-born Jordana Stott and Kiwi Lance Giles; the couple also co-wrote the film, with Stott taking the helm as director.
Your son is gone. I put my child in the ground. I'm not your daughter-in-law anymore...I'm just a ghost.– Rory (Lily Sullivan) in the trailer
