In this full-length Intrepid Journey, Breakfast presenter Tāmati Coffey gets a taste of Middle Eastern weather for a change. He tries to beat the heat by dressing like the locals, swimming with dolphins, and hiding from the sun in the beautiful mosques and palaces of Oman. Coffey gets a once-in-a-lifetime view of turtle nesting in Sur, goes rock climbing in 'Snake Canyon', and still manages to catch the All Whites on TV. In the middle of the scorching deserts of Salalah, he learns the secrets of long life from a whānau of camel-farming nomads who sleep under the stars.
