Created by Gavin Strawhan and Rachel Lang, the popular one-hour drama series Jackson’s Wharf is set in a fictional coastal town and centres on sibling rivalry between two brothers. Frank is the local policeman with a big secret, while golden boy Ben is a big city lawyer who returns home after their father’s death. The South Pacific Pictures production opens with Ben returning with his family in tow to navigate small-town gossip, clashes over his father’s will and who will inherit the local pub, a home invasion that rattles the town, and tensions with Frank and his wife Mahina, who has her own reasons for wanting Ben gone.
