Television (Excerpts) – 2015

Warkworth steps in for the fictional town of Weld in this popular comedy/drama. Australian-based Kiwi Erik Thomson (Packed to the Rafters) plays Sydneysider George Turner, a newspaper columnist who moves back to his childhood home in New Zealand with his two teenagers, after the death of his wife. In the first excerpt from this episode, the family get an unexpected welcome when their hire car collides with a runaway sculpture belonging to a local artist (Anna Julienne, from Mean Mums). The show was a co-production between South Pacific Pictures and Australia's Seven Network.
